Bloomberg Businessweek: Lovo Chocolate
Courtenay Vuchnich, co-founder of Lovo Chocolate, joins Carol and Tim on the Bloomberg Businessweek Podcast to talk about the business of plant-based milk chocolate.
They discuss all of the different factors that go into the world of chocolate making including the fluctuations of pricing, specifically the increased pricing of cocoa, and how LOVO Chocolate came to be.
LOVO Chocolate co-founders started in the dark chocolate industry, with Pascha Chocolate, a line of dark chocolate bars and chips made from clean ingredients and 100% plant based. Ever since launching this first brand, they were always working to create a sustainably sourced plant based milk chocolate but wanted to make sure the bars were as delicious as possible while remaining vegan and dairy free. That's where the plant milk came into play as more and more people were switching from dairy milk to drinking plant milks. Combining the delicious flavors of the plant with the richness of cocoa, creates the most creamy and irresistible plant milk chocolate bars.
“Emily, we’ve got to try it!” – Tim Stenovec. “My mouth is watering. I want it!” – Emily Graffeo
The first ever line of plant based milk chocolate is now on shelves in stores such as Walmart, Albertons, Fairway and more! To find a location near you checkout our chocolate finder here or order online on our site!
